Kimberly D. Tuck, RN
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Tuck joined NurseWise®, parent company of Nurse Response, in January 2005 as Chief Executive Officer and President. Prior to this position, Ms. Tuck worked for Outlook Associates, Inc. as Vice President of Health Plan Services, for Amerigroup as Associate Vice President of Managed Care Services New Markets and Development, and for HealthNet of California where she had statewide accountability for Product and Network Development for California Health Programs including Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and the AIM program in partnership with the State of California. Ms. Tuck received a Nursing Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a Master’s Degree from Trinity College and University.
Kristine K. Ziegler, RN
Vice President of Operations
Ms. Ziegler joined NurseWise in January 2006 as the Director of Quality Improvement. Prior to this role, Ms. Ziegler served in various roles within the managed care arena. With more than 10 years of service in the healthcare industry as a registered nurse, her experience consists of Medical Management/Utilization, Network Development/Contracting, Quality Improvement and Medical Review.
Dr. Mary Mason, MD
Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mason joined Centene Corporation January 2006 as National Medical Director. Dr. Mason has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer since March 1, 2007. From April 2006 to February 2007, she served as Vice President, Medical Affairs – Health Plans. From September 2001 to December 2005, Dr. Mason was with Healthcare USA, a Medicaid Managed Care Company owned by Coventry Health Care, Inc. She served as Chief Medical Director in 2005 and as Medical Director from September 2001 through December 2004. Dr. Mason was also in private practice as a board certified internal medicine physician from 1999 to December 2004.
Suzie S. Emiliozzi, RNC
Director of Quality & Compliance
Ms. Emiliozzi joined NurseWise in 2003 as a call center nurse and has since worked in various capacities within the organization. Her clinical background includes actue care medical and behavioral health nursing, ambulatory care, as well as sub-acute and long term care. Throughout her career, Ms. Emiliozzi has maintained a strong focus on quality of care, consumer advocacy, and systems improvement.
Valerie Lauerman, RN
Director of Call Center Operations
Ms. Lauerman joined NurseWise, the parent company of Nurse Response, in 2005 as a Clinical Director for the Tempe call center. Since then, Ms. Lauerman has expanded her role to provide leadership, oversight and support for all the triage call centers. She has long-standing experience in nursing and has specialized in managed care over the last nineteen years. Some roles prior to joining NurseWise include; Director of Provider Relations and Contracting for a nonprofit managed care plan, Executive Director of an integrated behavioral health provider network, Manager of Mental Health Certification for the TRICARE National Quality Monitor contract; and Manager of Medical Case Management and Disease Management programs for a Medicaid health plan. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Arizona State University.
