Kimberly D. Tuck, RN
- Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Tuck joined Nurse Response in January 2005 as Chief Executive Officer and President. Prior to this position, Ms. Tuck worked for Outlook Associates, Inc. as Vice President of Health Plan Services; for Amerigroup as Associate Vice President of Managed Care Services, New Markets and Development; and for Health Net of California, where she had statewide accountability for Product and Network Development for California Health Programs, including Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and the AIM program in partnership with the State of California. Ms. Tuck received a Nursing degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a Master’s from Trinity College & University.

Kristine K. Ziegler, RN
- Vice President of Operations

Ms. Ziegler joined NurseWise in January 2006 as the Director of Quality Improvement. Prior to this role, Ms. Ziegler served in various roles within the managed care arena. With more than ten years of service in the healthcare industry as a registered nurse, her experience consists of medical management/utilization, network development/contracting, quality improvement, and medical review.

Dr. Mary Mason, MD - Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Mason joined Centene Corporation in January 2006 as National Medical Director. Dr. Mason has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer since March 1, 2007. From April 2006 to February 2007, she served as Vice President, Medical Affairs – Health Plans. From September 2001 to December 2005, Dr. Mason was with Healthcare USA, a Medicaid managed care company owned by Coventry Health Care. She served as Chief Medical Director in 2005 and as Medical Director from September 2001 through December 2004. Dr. Mason was also in private practice as a board-certified internal medicine physician from 1999 to December 2004.

Valerie Lauerman, RN - Director of Call Center Operations

Ms. Lauerman joined NurseWise in 2005 as a Clinical Director for the Tempe call center. Since then, Ms. Lauerman has expanded her role to provide leadership, oversight, and support for all the triage call centers. She has long-standing experience in nursing and has specialized in managed care over the last nineteen years. Some roles prior to joining NurseWise include Director of Provider Relations and Contracting for a nonprofit managed care plan; Executive Director of an integrated behavioral health provider network; Manager of Mental Health Certification for the TRICARE National Quality Monitor contract; and Manager of Medical Case Management and Disease Management programs for a Medicaid health plan. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Arizona State University.

Michele C. Grignon, MC LPC - Director of Call Center Operations

Ms. Grignon joined Nurse Response in 2010, after more than 12 years in the clinical operations arena of the public managed care industry. Her management experience includes program development, clinical operations, fiscal responsibility, management of direct and indirect reports, contract compliance, utilization management, training, oversight of first responder systems, provider relations, network management, and call center operations. Ms. Grignon holds a Masters of Community Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis on Multicultural Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Dana M. Houle, RN, BSN, MHM, CCM - Director of Quality Improvement

Ms. Houle joined Nurse Response in 2010. Prior to that, she served as Manager – Quality Improvement, Telephonic Case Management and Utilization Review for Coventry Workers’ Comp Services, formerly Concentra Integrated Services. Also for Concentra, she was an Operations Manager for Telephonic Case Management and Utilization Review and an RN Case Manager Specialist. Ms. Houle holds a Masters of Science degree in Health Management from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Maryville University. She has achieved Case Management Certification CCM.
